Our Story

Perennial is a purveyor of sustainable bamboo kitchenware for the modern household. 

The name Perennial takes inspiration from bamboo being one of nature's evergreen perennial flowering plants - one of the fastest growing plants in the world. 

As per mentioned by the United Nations in 2018, we only have 12 years to limit climate change catastrophe. 

Each year, 130,000 square metres of forests are being cut down or burned for the production of timber. As such, the exacerbation of deforestation becomes a big factor in the growing issue of global warming.

Bamboo, known for its rapid growth and longevity, is increasingly used as an alternative raw material and wood substitute. With its quick regenerating properties and durability, we aim to play a small role in reducing climate change by promoting the integration of bamboo into a person’s everyday life so as reduce the use of wood by tenfold and promote sustainability in every household.
